Wondering and pondering

Filed under: DIY — BD @ 7:07 pm

Got this totally random jeans jacket with the idea of diy-ing it in some way. I need advice though – bleach, heavy studding (started with the pocket already) or cutting the sleeves off and making a jeans vest?! It’s rather short though so it really needs some spicing up. BTW I found studs at a store in Sofia and are quite affordable, I got small pyramids (around 130 – just for reference, the pocket below is studded with 20) and round dome ones (they only had 50 or so). Let me know if you want your nails and fingers ruined and I will tell you where to find them. Leave a comment about the diy, please!! xx

DIY weekend

Filed under: DIY — BD @ 9:17 pm

Very relaxing weekend spent mostly with my boyfriend, who must have iron nerves to deal with me. I made him cut off these shorts four times (he has steadier hand) and at the end he left and I messed them up so now he has to cut them again. Oh and the pants were his – he gave them to me some 4 years ago and I almost threw them away a few times until now. I had some studs lying around and since I have never studded anything, I gave it a shot. I don’t have any more of the round ones though, so that’s how the shorts will have to look.

And made a studded bracelet which is nothing special, but I like. Other bracelet – H&M

Finding old stuff

Filed under: DIY, Outfits — BD @ 12:05 pm

Love cleaning and rearranging my closet at home. I made this shredded tshirt in December and it took forever. Soothing to make though. I can’t wait to have the time to go through the rest of my stuff here!!

Some useless advice

Filed under: DIY, Outfits — BD @ 11:00 pm

First of all let me start by saying that if you have the brilliant idea to bleach dark dark jeans in the attempt to simply make them very and kindof uniformly light- it won’t exactly work. Evidence below. Two liters of bleach (that’s insane) later and that’s the result. They officially won’t bleach anymore – even the darker spots. I was hanging out in them today (the heels are just for the pic), but I’m not sure I really need two pairs of bleached jeans or that I would wear them. It was fun though. Maybe they need holes and rips.

Fringing

Filed under: DIY — BD @ 1:22 am

I was looking at some websites and saw a fringe top which I had enough time to try to recreate. I destroyed an old green crop top to make fringes. Now I am not really done as I figured out that I need some kind of glue. It will look either ridiculous or kinda cool. I also got sand paper – let the destruction of jeans begin. By the way I hope everyone is having a good time during the holiday season!

I made one too

Filed under: DIY — BD @ 1:16 pm

This is addictive! My version of the so popular shredded tee, which everyone seems to me making. I took a gray turtle neck that is a hundred years old. In the front it looks totally demure and stuff,  I kindof like the unexpected back, but also am not sure how often I will wear it. Maybe tonight at a party. That is if my ebay dress doesn’t arrive today!
